Third-year student Elizabeth “Lizzy” Lynch, who’s majoring in commerce as well as English, said although she had read “Pride and Prejudice” before, “Taking this class, I feel like I have explored it in a new light, truly understanding the long-lasting effects of Austen’s language and why it is such a timeless piece of literature.
